A landscape photographer
As I was born and raised in rural Eastern Finland, the desire to explore nature and all things wild is built deep inside me. I was lucky that my parents took me camping, hiking and foraging in the wild before I even learned to walk. This not only shaped my identity but also gave me invaluable tools to understand and respect nature and wildlife. Another favourite pastime and a great influence for me was looking at the analogue photographs my mum took during these adventures.
My urge to share the sometimes unnoticed raw beauty of wilderness with others has sparked an interest in documenting the natural world through photography. Throughout this journey I have grown to love photographing not only our wild surroundings but also the way humans have altered it to fit their ever-growing needs. Learning more about this planet and its natural curiosities by perceiving is my dearest passion.
